The good: closest shave from any electric I have ever owned including very high dollar series 9 Braun. Bad news: razor burn. Be sure to use lotion and even with that be careful. Very aggressive razor. Later addition, several months in: I am adding to my first review because I find that I return time and again to this razor when I shave. It’s all because of the closeness of the shave. Nothing compares except a blade shave. So, I press lightly and use pre shave. This seems to work. I have my expensive Series 9 Braun sitting out, but it goes unused. Another month passed, and I m obsessed with this razor. It’s the blade like closeness. I use a brush and soap blade shave when I have the time, but when I have an 8AM college class to teach I grab this razor. Truly, when finished, I feel like I shaved with my razor! How do they do that! No other expensive razor is even close to this closeness. Smooth, no hint of stubble. Yes, razor burn is there, but the closeness is worth it. This is a phenomenal razor. I love it. It has a great weight to it and is strong and you can use it in your car or in your house. I liked it so much. I bought one for some family members. While it did perform well initially it does not grab the scalp right and just excised a lovely patch of skin by my ear so I am going to say its sharp but utterly vicious and not safe for sensitive skin let alone the skull. Read more

My initial impression of this razor was that it feels solid in the hand. It has a nice heft to it, but it feels comfortable to hold and use. I originally wondered whether the 4 blade system was just a gimmick, but after shaving with this razor a couple of times, I get the feeling that this setup really works. Other electric razors I've used have provided a decent shave, but not on par with a manual blade razor. This one, on the other hand, actually rivals my traditional blade razor. The shave is incredibly comfortable, and when I'm finished my face feels quite smooth. It does make a bit of noise, but honestly less than the other foil shavers I own. The case is a nice bonus, as is the extra foil/blade. As is standard these days the razor can be locked to prevent accidental operation by pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds. I've now shaved with this 2 times, and have consumed less than 10% of the battery capacity. I should easily get a full week of shaving with this razor between charges. I do multiple passes to get a really close shave, but that's not unusual with any razor. And this razor is so comfortable that multiple passes aren't bothersome. Im still deciding how much I like this shaver. So far, im not impressed. The size and shape make it a little difficult to handle. The small size makes it easy to drop for me. The blade is ok. I dont like that i have to make so many passes over the same spot for the desired result. The blade gets musty and idk how to stop it or prevent it on future blades. I read another review complaining about neck irritation. It's brand new. New blades always do that. That may have been s young person with little shaver experience. For the price, it's aight. I think i would have been better off spending a bit more and buying another brand that I've used on the past with great results. Im on this thing, now, where I'm trying to spread my dollar to smaller companies. Didn't work out that well this particular time. It's cool. Read more
