This shaver was much better than I anticipated. I have to confess that after seeing a set looks like this at my barber, I wanted to get one for myself. I was not disappointed. The shavers are very substantial and heavy. Very nice quality. They arrived with a 100% charge on each shaver. The beard trimmer worked better than the shaver it was purchase to replace. My experience with a foil shaver is very limited; I've always used a straight razor to shave. However, with a 2 day stubble I was extremely impressed to see that the foil shaver gave me a very clean shave! I am extremely happy with the quality of this shaver and highly recommend it to others. The electric razor is amazing. Its by far the closest you're going to get to razor smooth without a razor. Its got a good weight to it and is very sturdy feeling. I really like the LED screen that says the RPM and battery percentage. I do recommend using some aftershave balm if you have sensitive skin. The beard clippers on the other hand are not as as good. Thats the only reason I gave it 4 stars. It does feel good in the hand and has a nice weight to it but its just not as sharp as i hoped. I used the provided oil and it still got snagged up on my beard. Overall though, its a good buy. Read more

I bought this for the foil shaver. I already had a kit that had the beard trimmer and accessories but I found that this kit had it all for roughly the same price as a standalone foil shaver. However, the foil shaver SUCKS! I had never used one so I thought it was just me. It left part of my face silky smooth but then other areas it left patches of hair like it wasn't even working! I went over and over my face, to the point that my face was red and irritated and itchy. I had to finish the job with the standard Gillette handheld. I read the manual to make sure I was using it/holding it properly and tried again several days later. Same result! IDK what the problem is but this thing sucks. Stick with a brand you know or just shave like your dad taught you b/c that's what I had to do both times. Read more

So far owned this for 1 day... I used the precision trimmer portion to shave "down below" with no guard. I was worried at first, but wow! Very smooth, no cuts, very easy. I truly expected this product to be okay at best, but within the first day has already blown my expectations... So far so good. I have also tried the nose trimmer attachment, works great.
