These boots were a little too distressed for brand new boots. It looked like there was an oil stain on top of the right boot. The over all fit was tight all over even with a thin sock. I don't think I could comfortablely break in these boots. I wouldn't want to go a half size larger. The heel height was perfect and the Spider Rubber outsole had great traction. The inside had UGG's signature UGGpure wool insole. Plus they are waterproof. I really wanted to own my first pair of UGG boots. Unfortunately I'm returning them. Read more

Unfortunately, I ordered half a size up due to the reviews and they are a little too big, one actually being a little bigger than the other (and it’s not my feet). They also come to the bottom of my jeans so one edge of my (skinny) jeans kind of goes inside. My daughter said it looked fine though. There is not a lot of arch support but they are soft and pretty warm. Read more

Earlier review: It's hard for me to find a comfortable AND stylish shoe. I ordered these b/c I knew I could (and probably would) return them since I have such a hard time finding a comfortable shoe. So far I've been able to wear them for long periods of time w/o discomfort - that's big for me! UPDATE: Just received the same boot - only in black this time. I was a bit concerned b/c another review said that the black looked like cheap rubber. Maybe I like cheap rubber, but I like the look of this boot. I don't like shiny leather and didn't want a distressed look and am pleased with the black leather boot. If it is like my first pair, it will soften a bit with wear and look exactly as I like. I hadn't really noticed on my first pair that the top edge of the boot is trimmed with more of a suede look. It shows up more on the black and I like that as well. Same comfort, just a bit more "dressy" - sad to say this is about a dressy as I get! Read more
