I bought this hub because I need a stable Ethernet connection for work on my MacBook Air (M4), and it has helped me a lot. It has been working exactly as intended with no issues over the past two months. I work a 9 to 6 shift with two days off, which means I use this hub for around 160 hours per month, and I’ve had no connection problems at all. I use it with an external monitor, and at the same time it fast charges my MacBook when connected to my 65W UGREEN charger, which makes it a perfect combination for my setup. Haven't tried the ethernet or hdmi connections yet but all the other connections have been flawless. Using this to play iPad music on my old stereo system (BOSE 901 speakers) via UGREEN USB C to RCA jack adapter to the amp. There may be a better way to do this but the set-up works and doesn't degrade the sound quality. In fact, in some cases the sound is better than playing the same album from the audio CD. No problem charging the iPad using the adapter while playing music. I haven't noticed the adapter becoming hot. Will update review if I run into problems with either the ethernet or hdmi. Read more

Great Product, it has the ports you need, sometimes it heats and everything, it’s not that crazy but it could be better. I mean, why would a usb hub need to be hot? Anyways, the design it’s good. The speed it’s good, as expected. The connectivity it’s also good, no problems with Ethernet or hdmi. With WiFi I used to get 100 mbps and now I’m getting 400mbps. I have a very similar one from Anker but for whatever reason, it decided to stop outputting video over the HDMI. I have a few UGreen products that are nearly identical to Anker. Anker is usually my go to brand but I opted for UGreen this time around for the replacement. I bought this for a MacBook Air M1 that has only 2 USB-C ports and I have connected a mouse, keyboard, monitor, an Ethernet and the charger, all works perfectly and the USB transfer rate is also pretty good. I love the fact that with only one port I can connect and use everything on my desk and if I have to get out I simply disconnect it and I'm ready to go.
