Great dock that works well with with Mac and Windows, and seems to be able to handle anything I can throw at it. I've had other UGREEN combo video+usb dongles that really bogged down when I used the video port, however this one did not even break a sweat when pushing out 1080p@60fps from my MacBook while handling multiple USB inputs and outputs, power delivery, and ethernet all at the same time. Love this, except it only works for my ipad, for some reason, it only charges my Samsung phone, note it might be user error. I didn't really try to check what the problem was because I bought it to use on my ipad. I use it to play pubg, and it works pretty good. Read more

Purchased this hub to connect my external display monitor with HDMI to my MacBook Air M4. It works as expected, no issues whatsoever, thus far. It does not get hot with just the one monitor connected. It also works well with my external storage drives. Very easy to use too. Read more
So far this multiport adapter seems to work well. One caveat: Although the device may seem to work well without a separate USB power supply, it doesn't. I experienced CD-R write failures, and Ethernet dropout, until I finally gave an external power supply a try. That fixed it. Regarding that need, the positive side is that if your laptop uses a power supply with a USB connector, you can plug that into the adapter, and then the USB cord from the adapter will charge the laptop! I bought this as an upgrade over an older USB-C hub that lacked a card reader and had only USB-A slots on its side. I have used it for a few weeks and so far have no complaints about its functionality or build quality. It is larger than other portable hubs I’ve had, but for me its combination of SD card, Ethernet, HDMI, and USB-C replaces two separate, smaller adapters that I had been using instead. (I hadn’t been able to find a reasonably priced hub until now that combined all of those features.)
