You have to know what it does! I was tired of stupid Windows 11 bluetooth connection experience (significant lag, occasional conflict, etc). This little device is AMAZING! It is a bluetooth audio trasmitter device. When you plug in to your Windows 11 PC, it is recognized as an AUDIO device. Now, you connect your bluetooth earbuds/headphones to it. Significantly reduced audio lag - almost none! What's more impressive is that you can pair TWO bluetooth earsets to it and it simulataneously transmitts audio to two connected earbuds/headset. Bought this to pair with my new Sony WF-1000XM6 earbuds on my PC in LE mode. Unfortunately, no matter how many times I tried, I was not able to get the 2 devices to pair in Unicast so I could then use it on my PC. Seems to work with my other devices in classic BT mode fine, but I need LE connection so this unfortunately is not a workable solution for me. Tried looking to see if there's a way to update the device, but the support on the manufacturer's website for this is completely non-existent. Look elsewhere if you've got XM6's. Read more

BT-501 a older and cheaper adapter somehow has better audio quality for classic bluetooth audio. (SBC) My headphones have aptx but i cant figure out how to configure it to use that codec. I pressed the button one time and that's supposed to change the codec but it doesn't change it just stays on sbc. This is not a simple USB Bluetooth adapter. It is ONLY for headphones or other audio devices. On Windows, it shows up as an Audio device, not as a BT adapter. Your headphone connects via BT to this device and the device then sends the audio to the computer (via USB). I have a Beats headphone and a set of AirPods Pro 3 and both would hook up for audio but it did not recognize the microphone on either of them. If you're looking for a way to add BT to a computer that doesn't have it built-in, this is not the device you're looking for. It's only for devices (I guess gaming consoles) that don't have BT and wouldn't recognize a simple BT adapter. Read more
