This bag kept me warm hammock camping when the air temperature was 28° f. I backpacked with it for 18. Mi and it was an appropriate weight for the insulation Factor. It fit comfortably in my stuff sack. I appreciate that it came with a separate storage bag that allows it to be stored without being compacted as well as the built-in straps to hang it in a closet. This sleeping bag hits all the marks for me. It is slightly heavy but I was willing to trade that for comfort. The sleeping bag is rated to 20* and comfort @ 32*. This is a true rating and most of us the backpack camp or tent camp know this isn't always the case. The only thing I would change about this bag are the zippers. This bag is roomy enough to move around in but tight enough that it holds in the heat. It puffs up nicely in about 15 minutes time. The anti draft fabric that has been added to the shoulder area is perfect for keeping heat in and the head has a drawstring feature just like a mummy bag to keep your pillow in and your head warm on those cold night. When the weather heats up this bag can be fully opened and used as a blanket. The two zipper design allows for a person to wear it and have their feet hanging out of the bottom or it can be used to allow for extra ventilation at night. Overall, I am rating this bag a 5 because of it being relatively cheap for the comfort, and warmth. Read more

This may not be the most compact down sleeping bag, but the trade off is actual warmth at near freezing temperatures. Packing this back into the bag is quite a challenge, pack size will be closer to 16x7. The outer material is durable and not likely to tear even while looking like a giant trash bag. Was comfortable and warm in 37 degree weather with thin clothing. In our moto backpacking group, I was the only one who slept well and was warm, everybody else complained of being cold and not able to sleep. Big plus for this bag. Read more

This is a large and nice size comfortable sleeping bag by ZTTENLLY. Everything opened up just fine, we spread it out and I got inside, there’s a place for a pillow, and it felt warm. I was looking forward to using it at a retreat. Unfortunately I couldn’t zip it closed. Even with a couple of helpers who camp often couldn’t get it to zip up. For the price I was very disappointed. I bought this for backpack camping, so it had to be light, tough, and compressible. It fit the bill for all three very well. As a bonus, it's also very warm and comfortable. Read more

I ordered this bag to test, and to replace my old Coleman which is huge and heavy and hard to manage for backpacking. It was ok for car camping and this one seems to be even better. The pros: - Reasonable price for a down bag (duck) and very puffy - Extremely warm. I have not yet tested it in cold weather (it's late spring) but it's too warm for any temperature over 40 degrees I would say. Certainly ok down to freezing. - Reasonably light, 3.7lbs as you can see in my second picture, so it's ok to carry for fall/winter trips. - Neck insulation/baffle inside the chest area (the orange part) which keeps your body heat from leaking out towards your head - Zippered storage pocket inside, near your left chest area. Roomy enough for an extra pair of socks, beanie or your phone even - Fairly compact. As you can see in the second picture on the scale, it is around 7 inches compressed in its (included) compression bag. Not too bad and easy to attach to the outside of your pack. If you want it inside your pack you will need a large (60-70L) pack or it will take up too much space. - It includes a large mesh bag for storing it uncompressed so the down doesn't get flattened while it is stored. Nice for washing it too, as it can avoid damaging it in the washer. Nice touch. The cons: - I'm 5'10" (1.80m) or so and my toes touch the bottom, but are not constrained. If you are any taller than that, this one may not be for you - Tons of space down by your feet, but less so around the chest. I even had a little trouble zipping up all the way, it's a little tricky but it can be done. Otherwise your body heat leaks out over your right shoulder If you are looking for a budget-friendly duck down bag that will keep you warm and comfortable to around freezing (maybe a little below, I will be testing) and you are 5'10" or shorter, then I think you will like this bag. If you are tall or need it for, say 15F / -10C or below, maybe not. Personally I liked it very much and I am replacing my old Coleman with it, more compact, lighter and warmer. Read more
