Why did you pick this product vs others?: We love these so much I bought 4 of them! We have a large beam running across the downstairs and I put up one angled bar, and later wanted the straight bar as well. As my 4 children grow they are on them more and more, so I added a couple the other day. Installation is super easy, just drill 4 bolt holes. One note-- the drill bit size is listed on the instructions, but the shanks of the lag bolts are too fat for the hole. It makes screwing them in a chore. Just bore out the first inch with a wider drill bit and no problem. I personally like adding grip tape/hockey tape to these but my children don't like it so I left it off the straight bars. They are well-made and one welded-solid peice. Love it! I'm about 210lbs and can swing and rip out pull ups on these bars and they don't flex or wiggle AT ALL. Very safe and stable. Read more

Would be more helpful if the seller gave exact measurements. I bought it wondering if it would be the correct size, thinking that I might need to return it. As it turns out, it worked for me. Read more

This is a very strong and solid bar, but it arrvied with the paint chipped and metal rusted on both joints (see photo). These flaws are not an issue for my installation - bolted to a floor joist in a basement utility room - but if you plan to install your bar in a finished room or other visible location, you may want to choose a manufacturer that pays more attention to quality control, Read more

Bar barely 36” across, too short for king doorway studs. Beat-up looking, too. Very very disappointed. Read more
