Works great, love that it have the time indicator so you don't have to manually turn it off. The vibration + UV light and dental pod tablet works wonders. I do manually brush my clear retainer, but over the years it start to have buildups that it's impossible to brush it off. It won't immediately show result right away, but it does get cleaner after many rounds. My retainer have never feel so smooth. Update: 2/25/2026, As I was repacking for return, I have found the problem with the lid not closing. The lid has tiny 3-4mm white pads covering screws on the lid. One had popped off and wedged at the hinge of the lid, causing the lid to have a gap, not closing fully. Whelp…it closes just fine after I removed that piece. But, I have already ordered a replacement that IS rechargeable, so will go ahead and return this. BUT, I am increasing my rating to 4stars, only sad that it isn’t rechargeable, it has to be plugged in. Well.... It works but I am very disappointed that the product is not chargable as is stated in the description. Instead, it must stay plugged in at all times while in use. I will say that it has been cleaning my aligner very well. I"ve used it about a week and it has to be unplugged, due to length of the cord and for safety, to pour out the dirty water. Also, the lid is not meeting to close well after this short period of use. I"m sure it is from pouring out the dirty water, you have to hold the lid up to keep it from flopping down and it seems to have been moved out of place and I can't get it to close well. Literally after just a few short uses. I have to put a jar of face cream on the top to keep the lid closed. So in review, the ease of use is good, but the durability is poor, due to the lid becoming poor fitting after just a few uses. It is easy to use and gives a few options of 3 minutes constant on, 6 min cycling off on with the ultrasonic. The UV lights are on with any of the settings but not sure how well the UC is cleaning/sanitizing as UV will be diffused with having to pass through the water. The unit states it MUST have water in the bowl before powering on (for any setting). I've been thinking about returning it since I received it. Initially due to the item NOT being a rechargable item and having to have the gangly cord present on my limited vanity space in my bathroom. But, it was working and cleaning well so I was putting up with it. That is until the lid became loose and not sitting properly even with what I can tell you has been gentle use.
