When I purchased this shower caddy, it claimed to be stainless steel, but it now has so many rust spots I highly doubt if it really is. I paid more for this shower caddy than I would normally pay thinking that it would be rustproof. Well, it isn't. So if you are looking for a shower caddy that won't rust, save your money don't buy this one. I'm not sure if there is anything better out there, but this definitely isn't it. Read more
I really, really like this shower caddy. Seems kinda absurd, but I looked all over the place for the perfect shower caddy -- I just couldn't find exactly what I was looking for in this most basic of bathroom furnishings. While this shower caddy isn't totally ideal (on the top shelf, if you place the bottles incorrectly, they can slide forward and off the shelf -- but it's only happened once), it's a pretty great product. Plus, although the other reviewer noted rusting, mine hasn't rusted at all and I've had it in my shower for about a year. There's ample space for products, and I LOVE the basket feature on the bottom -- it means I don't have to gingerly place a shrinking bar of soap on the caddy with fears that it will slip in between metal slats. The netting ensures that the bar of soap, no matter what size, will stay put. Genius! All caddies should be built that way. The only complaint I have (aside from the top shelf needing a lower "fence" to keep anything from sliding off, in the most shaky of circumstances), is that it's a little tricky to get on. You should most likely remove the shower head to install this caddy, but I just forced it on because I didn't want to bother. Perhaps not the best approach, though it worked. But having the support bars along the back be a little farther apart would make installation and possible removal easier. Overall, a really good product -- does its job, and does it well, and it was the best I could find for my preferences. And a year later, it looks good as new. Read more
