These pants are quite nice. They don't hug your ankles like some, so they'll easily cover a great deal of your chunky clog like kitchen shoes. They clean up nicely after a wash and they last easily for quite a few years. As a small woman, the smalls were quite long, I had to roll them up once at waist, but you couldn't tell through chef coat. I believe there are female versions of same pant. But I have since gone to school and given the pants to my hard working hubs whom has put a few good years into them. I just purchased him a few more pairs. Mediums were too large for him, but the smalls are a perfect fit. He loves these pants too! I also give kudos to the company. They are very efficient and helpful, as well as quick to respond to any questions or needs! Read more
I'm normally a size 32-34 waist and these fit perfectly, with a bit of room to go either way. The length of the pants was a bit overkill though, I would normally wear a 30" inseam and these were a good 4" too long! With a bit of sewing this was remedied. I have not experienced any rips or tears in the pants yet as other reviews have suggested, but only time will tell. I would recommend these to other cooks as a sturdy every-day work pant. Read more
I've bought these in past and they fit true as expected again this time around. They do fit baggy but I like that for freedom of movement. Remind me of sweatpants but with a dress pant kind of material. Started wearing these at work when my job required me to bend my legs and move around a bunch. No I am not a chef but I feel they would work great for many different job applications. Read more
Fit tight for so called "cargo pants"not very sturdy elastic, and the drawstring around the waste is thin and cheap. Not crazy about these pants at all. Read more
I love to cook but that's not why I bought these pants. I was looking for something sturdy and loose fitting for work in the garden. These pants were the absolute PERFECT choice. I'm 5' 10" tall and weigh 130 lbs - the Small fit me perfectly. Great pockets and the inside drawstring gives added support so when the pockets are full of gardening paraphernalia the pants don't slip down. Read more
I ordered the XL after reading the reviews that the product ran on the large side. What I found is that the waist, hips area ran on the small side but the legs & inseam run very very long. I had to hem 8" off the cuffs. The dark pinstripe color is great. The material is very thin and breathe able so good for the kitchen. I work in a cooler so it's not so good for me. The drawstring is pretty cheap. I've seen this type before and the drawstring usually snaps within a few months of use. I wish it had belt loops just in case as a backup. The overall design is kind of cheap. The lower leg pocket is situated over my knee so that anything I have in there keeps slapping against my knee cap. I think it's supposed to be a cellphone pocket. The pocket flap is awkward and I am concerned it will catch on something and rip off while I am working. The special towel loop is a nice idea but not so practical. It's too small and the construction leaves me concerned that when I try to lace a towel through it can easily rip off. Again this product seems to be cheaply made. But hey I got what I paid for. This product was only like about 20 bucks. I should have gone to Walmart instead to buy something this cheap and at least I could have tried it on first to check that it fit correctly. Read more
So comfy, I forget to take them off after I get home from work. Sure, these pants are never glamorous. But they more than get the job done. I love how many pockets they have and the towel loop is an interesting addition. I may buy a second pair just so I can wear these pants all the time. Read more
Nice pants but sizing is ridiculous. I am a 5'11, 190 lb man and the medium is huge on me, even after washing and drying several times. Read more
