The socks are great, comfy, padded where you want it. I used these for work socks; I have a blend of corporate desk life and maintenance work. I like the low cut so my shoes don't rub the back of my ankle but not so high that socks always fall down. Great for running and sports as well. Been using these for years. Buyer beware though of the particular seller Liegnitz Group: They were late shipping, sent me the wrong socks so I sent for a return and they send me the right ones. My return got delivered back to them but they did not process it and did not send out any new ones. They cancelled my order and acted like I got the right ones all along. These are great every day socks. I literally wear them every day for work and play. I wear work boots, hiking boots, golf shoes and athletic shoes with theses socks. I wear a size 11 and the fit is perfect. The thickness is great using all different shoes. 12 pair seem to last between a year and 18 months. I rotate new pair as old ones wear out. It's always the heal that wears thin. The ankle elastic seems to last longer than the heal. Read more

And by "every-day socks", I literally mean that I wear these every day. With covid and working from home, I no longer put on dress socks and dress shoes (my office "uniform" has, for a very long time, been "high tech casual": dress shirt, nice jeans with a dress belt, dress socks, dress shoes). Now I walk around all day in my dress shirt, nice jeans with a dress belt, and a pair of these comfy UA socks, because no one can see my feet on Zoom. I gave these a 2-star rating in the "working out" category because they're 28% cotton. It's been many years since I realized the huge benefit of wearing fully synthetic "wicking" material for working out (esp. for running). But that's also exactly why I bought these as every-day socks. I've always preferred my every-day socks to be 100% cotton, but started to see the benefit of a cotton/poly blend (yeah, my feet do sweat even when I'm not working out). If I had my "druthers" I'd ask UA to make a 50/50 blend, but this 28% cotton blend works really well, whether I'm walking around the house, walking around the supermarket, or just walking around the block to get some air. Over all I like the socks. They are comfortable and fit well. The elastic seems to hold them in place good without being too tight. I would not consider these running or CrossFit rated by any stretch but for walking and casual use they are just fine. Read more

Purchased the LOWCUT Version of these socks simply by accident. Found them in a bargain store for $9. I was immediately impressed by the quality & comfort of these socks. I have a hard time finding socks that don't clamp your ankles like a vice! Or they are so loose that they slip down. The LOWCUT version is my choice. I was so happy with them that I bought more. Fortunately AMAZON carried the XLARGE size which are great for my size 13's. I highly recommend these UNDER ARMOUR socks. Now that I have found them I hope they don.t stop producing them!
