I ordered these shoes for my six-year-old, who is very rough on footwear—and these have been amazing so far! They’re super strong and sturdy, perfect for an active kid who’s constantly on the move. The Velcro closure makes them easy for him to put on and take off by himself, and I really love the wide toe box. He hasn’t complained once about his feet hurting, which is a big deal for us! Perfect shoes for active kids! The Under Armour Assert 10 is lightweight, comfortable, and very supportive. My child loves the easy alternate closure—it makes putting them on and taking them off super quick, without needing help. My kid has sensory issues due to Autism, but they don't speak much most days, so sometimes it's a struggle finding things that they like to wear and can handle all day. Shoes are a big problem - they always want to take them off. They leave these on! This is the first pair all year that was still on when they got home from school. When I ask them to select their shoes, they select this pair a LOT. So basically, these are comfortable and affordable. These fit true to size for Under Armor (which in my opinion runs a bit small.) I sized up a bit to make sure they fit my son well and they did. He said they are super fast shoes! The shoes are a bit wider than I was expecting as far as the sole goes. The white under the black mesh also isn’t as visible in real life like it is in the photo. I was a little disappointed in that. These are great shoes if you get the right size. My son wears size 2.5-3 shoes and is 9 years old and these shoes are way too small for him. We got a size 3. He’s had these shoes when he was younger and they fit great, but this version has only Velcro on part of the strap and was too tight and too short. These are probably meant for actual pre schoolers not older elementary kids. Read more
We have 3 boys and I always buy Under Armour shoes! They are durable enough for rowdy boys and the color doesn't fade when you wash them, yes we wash them in the washer. These velcro which are easy to use for tiny hands that can't tie yet. They are stylish and a GREAT value for the money. My boys love them never complain of discomfort. They fit true to size.
