Sizing up the man: * Waist: 33", Hips: 37", Inseam: 33" * Thighs: 21", Calves: 14", Ankles: 8.5" * Weight: 160 lbs Pros: The inseam can't be 30.5" it's to perfect. It's has to almost be 32", The butt is a little baggy, but I'm not a super active guy, so my butt is on the small side. The waistband is comfortable. You can lounge around in these and be comfortable physical and thermally. They are so much warmer than the Base 3.0s. They are truly "fitted" for my shape. Slight hug on the calves nothing uncomfortable or compression like. There is no discomfort on my thighs either. They seem to wick moisture very well. I will be buying another pair of these. Oh, the quality is there. When you get them on, pull them up to much then slide everything down to where it's comfortable. Straightens out the leg hairs if you have them. More comfortable that way too. Right, the fabric is strong and a great thickness. I wasn't sure how "leggings" would feel but dude. I love them. Where have these been my entire life. Great cold-weather base layer. Keeps me warm in the coldest conditions ... yesterday it was -2 degrees outside. These are definitely "leggings" because they fit skin tight. I have a 34" waist and stand 6'2" (mostly all legs) ... the large size initially fits perfectly ... from my waist to my ankles. Warm is an understatement. I ordered 1 size down to ensure a comfortable fit that wasn’t bulky under my clothes and it worked out perfect. First off, I had to buy 2 of these. I'm a 34" waist and ordered a size Large. Upon wearing them the first time (as a base layer while playing golf) I was constantly hiking them up and fighting with them. I bought another pair in size XL and they're the correct size. However from the knee to the ankle is so tight that I do have to pull them up from time to time and I'm just golfing. I would not (nor do I think I could) wear these working out. Short Summary: Worth the money! Purchased for working extended hours outdoors in subpar conditions & for a trip to Alaska. Yes, they are pricier than others. HOWEVER, the saying “you get what you pay for” is positively true! Detailed Summary: My husband (who is hot natured) purchased a set last winter when he was stuck outside at work for extended hours on end in subpar weather. He couldn’t say enough good things about how comfortable & warm they kept him. He was able to comfortably layer them underneath his work clothes and I n no way did they restrict or prohibit any movement nor cause him to sweat when he was working intensely setting & cleaning up trench pumps, boxes, wading through mud with LDH, etc. (For reference he’s 5’12”, 300# & purchased size: 2XL. He wears 3XL shirts & 44 x 32 jeans) Also, due to my husband’s recommendation, purchased a set for my mother to wear in Alaska on her cruise & excursions. For transparency at first she was rather skeptical but after wearing them she’s never wearing anything else! As soon as she could she excitedly sent me a message with the BIGGEST THANK YOU ever for my husband recommending them & me purchasing them for her. She said others were complaining about freezing yet she’s never been so comfortably warm outside in cold weather! Both my mother & husband said they fit more snugly than they were use to how other brands fit. However, that’s how these are intended to fit. Neither of them like clothing to fit tightly… until they wore these & only these! (It’s only my assumption that if your deciding factor on whether or not to purchase them is due to wanting a looser fit that you could, obviously, order up from your normal size.
