Under Armour Womens ColdGear Authentics Leggings

Leggings are cold gear/compression so they are a tighter fit. Leggings are very soft and comfortable to wear. I am 5’3” and I do have to roll them a little bit because of length but my legs are short. It doesn’t really bother me/ impact when I work out. The leggings are thicker than their other styles and do not appear to be see-through. There are no pockets on these in case that is something you are wanting. Cold wise, I can see these being good for runs/walks from 20-25 degrees and up. While they aren’t super thick, they will at least trap body heat, wick sweat, and prevent wind burn. I think they would be great for running in rain/wet days as well. These seem to be great for what I need. I caught these on sale for $25 and would definitely buy another pair for around that price. Very comfortable leggings, with just the right amount of compression. Very cozy soft and warm material on the inside. I’m 5’5” and 125 lbs, and size S fits perfectly. I wear them layered together with running shorts on top, when I run in cold weather and these leggings keep me both warm and dry. Awesome price deal too - totally worth $30. Probably going to order more pairs of different colors. I love UA. Their cold gear running long-sleeve tops are just as great as these leggings. Read more

I was a little nervous about buying Compression leggings as I normally go with Fitted styles, but I was specifically looking for ColdGear leggings because I love my ColdGear Fitted shirt so much. Looking at the provided size chart, both my waist and hip measurements were on the low end of the inches range for XS so I went with that. These are INDEED compression leggings! They are a tad squeezier than I would like, but they certainly do keep me warm. The waist band is also a little high for my taste, but at least I won't need to keep hiking them up. The length was perfect (I'm 5'4) but I think if I was even 5 pounds heavier, I would have sent them back for the next size up regardless of the too large waist/hip measurements (for reference, I'm 110 lbs.). Overall, happy with this purchase, but I think I will try to find Fitted v. Compression base layer leggings in the future. Hope this helps someone. Read more

I am a mail carrier and have a really hard time maintaining body temperature in the cold months. Having to wear so many layers can make it so much harder to still be able to move at my regular pace. These are amazing. So incredibly comfortable, felt like a second skin. Stayed in place and didn’t feel like I needed to yank them up all day. While they do have a front seam there is a triangle gusset between the front and back seam. They kept me warm without making me get sweaty. The most comfortable base layer I have tried so far under my uniform. While they do have some stretch, I initially sized down based on Amazon’s recommendation but they were too tight. The thick band is somewhat uncomfortable. You absolutely cannot wear regular underwear with these unless you want everyone seeing your panty line. They feel nice and soft in the legs but they did very little to actually keep me warm on my run in 35 degree weather. I expected these to be as warm as their cold gear shirts which are great and warm. I’ll wear these on mildly cold weather only. Read more
