This is more of an informational note than full review. These type of leggings are used for all sorts of sports of which I don't use them for and can't speak to their usefulness for those purposes. I bought mine for running daily 5Ks followed by another 5K cool down walk -- literally ha ha. I'm 5'6", not skinny, not fat, not muscular, and on the higher end of the "normal" BMI weight range. The medium size fits me perfectly -- this is my usual size for UA fitted and compression clothes. It's snug but does not strangle and I'm not begging to get out of them when I return from my routine. They are comfortable as far as compression tights can be. The interior is fleece lined. I have other pairs of "cold gear" tights that are not lined but work just as well, but it does add to the comfort I think. I wear these in temps between 30-45 (not including any windchill factor). Even with a 25 windchill they keep me warm. My usual routine is an hour long, but only 25-30 min of that is running. The rest is walking which I'm not generating as much body heat. I think that says a lot about these leggings. My only "beef" with these -- or any other compression leggings -- is that they are too long for my short legs, but probably not an issue for 99% of the population. I try to buy 3/4 leggings but they are a rare bird for men in a winter design. But despite the length the excess doesn't get in the way since I wear jogger pants over them. Finally, I would note these seem to be intended as a base layer and not to be worn solo. The crotch area is "breathable" and a bit see though. So at a minimum you need to wear shorts over these. I've never worn leggings before. After wearing these in the winter (live in New York), I don't know how I lived without these. These are SUPER comfortable and keep me very warm. Whether it's 40 degrees outside of 10 degrees with wind chill, these are an absolute live saver. I've worn these on long walks (4-6 miles) as well as runs (5-8 miles) in relatively chilly weather (low 40s) and also in some really cold weather (20s with win) and these work so well. I will never stop wearing these during the winter. Read more

It’s hard to believe that such a thin layer of fleece can add so much comfort as the temperature drops into the 20s & 30s. These make a great base layer for walking outdoors with as many additional layers of clothing as conditions require. And they do wick away a lot of perspiration, which is wicked further by each successive layer of dri wick clothing. Large was a snug fit @ 175# & 5-7 but that’s fine for a compression garment. Bought a set for my husband to wear hunting in the mountains. The style was different and not sure he'd like as well. At first he felt too squeezed in, but the compression really did help his legs go further without cramping. They wick sweat well & hold warmth better than his more expensive set. Sadly it was on the third outing he realized there was NO FLY, forcing me to edit my original review and knock of a star. If he had done the edit, well, I think he would have taken off all of the stars! ( I think I will try to add a fly.) Read more

I have made several runs in these and have been very happy with my purchase. The price I paid for these was more than fair. Typically, cold running gear of good quality like these are much more expensive. I am 6’1 and the Large fits me perfectly. I have also ran them through several washes and they are still holding up very well. If you are a runner looking for a great product at a good price you can’t go wrong with these. Read more

I'm a 5'7 male with a waist somewhere between 30-32 so I ordered the Medium size, and it fits really well! Just as one would expect a pair of compression leggings to fit, snug and comfortable. They do run a little long for me but that is not really a problem, I just fold them over. The leggings are super comfortable, and really warm! I wore them for a trail run today, in about 3degrees celsius wet weather, and I was really glad I was wearing them. If you are looking for something to help with running in cold weather, I would definitely recommend these leggings! Read more

A Christmas present for my husband who is a runner. We live in a area where it can be -20 below zero. He says he stayed very warm on his runs. He also uses them for working outside. I highly recommend. I purchased the top and bottoms. So worth the money. My daughter got him the cold gear infrared armor elements men’s training hoody. He loves it. If you are a runner in cold weather these products are amazing. Highly highly recommend. Superior quality. Seriously these are above board quality products. Read more
