My husband and I ordered this fence system for our Rotty pup back in February and it has worked very well. She has learned her boundaries quick and it works very well at keeping her in our yard boundaries.Our transmitter went out yesterday, we came home to it alarming, called Extreme fencing, they were closed but returned my call first thing today. I explained what had happened and the gentleman I spoke with was very polite and helpful, and they are sending me a replacement transmitter at no cost. This was very cost effective. Installed it ourselves and our dog was hesitant at first as she didn't understand the collar, it is a little bulky for her small frame. She waits by the back door and then goes out and just patrols and runs the whole yard. I wasn't sure what she would do the first time she saw a rabbit, she is a hound dog, but she chased it across the yard and stopped at the fence. This beats when she ran around our entire neighborhood chasing a rabbit! It works great! Read more

My dog is safe...and I feel bad while she learns that it is OK to go outside, just not near the fence. Her favorite past time was to find weakness in my fence, now she acts like the yard is lava (sadly). The included wire is ALMOST enough to fence in 2 acres, but not quite. The posts on the collar stick out a good bit, even the smallest posts. She is short haired and those posts very clearly keep the collar at an angle. If they made smaller or even flush contacts, I'd purchase them. But, as I said, my dog is now safe and stays in the fence. She is a expert excavator AND climber (even with barbed wire at the top), but now she will stay inside the fence. Read more

The fence works as expected from the product; however, my transmitter went out. It was a fluke, but customer service was prompt, solution focused, and sent a replacement transmitter very quickly after I spoke to them. Guy was the last customer service agent that I spoke with, but every person I spoke with was very polite and professional. I will return to this company for any similar products and needs. Read more

After months of research and reading, I bought the Extreme Dog Fence system. I am really glad I did. The wire shielding is really thick and sturdy. The controller is easy to use and has a lot of flexibility. The setup was straight forward and the tech help was GREAT. Crystal is a customer service agent at Extreme Dog Fence and she was a great help. She was very knowledgeable and had all the answers I needed.
