Did not work.
Although the old battery and this new battery had the same model number, they were not the exact same size. The recharging plates did not match up with the original batteries. I had to enlarge the area around the charging plate to get them to work. Read more

1 Uniden BP 40 defective
Initially, the BP 40 batteries recharged upon receiving through shipment. Two weeks later, one BP 40 battery installed inside of my Uniden 2-way radio measured “dead.” Checks (recharging proved unsuccessful) for charging component reveal no malfunction, since, original battery pack was capable of registering a partial charge.
