This is a great bag to travel with. It comes with a shoulder strap and although it isn't padded, it is still comfortable. It can be switched out in case you want to add your own. The bag is very spacious and holds everything I'd need for a weekend trip. There is one outside pocket and a hole to slide your suitcase handle through. I haven't been on a plane with this yet but it is the most perfect personal item bag that carries so much!! I love the color and material. It is sturdy material but the feel is not like your typical vinyl bag. It's not necessarily vinyl by any means but that is the closest comparison I can think of off hand. It fits perfectly over the adjustable arm of both my carry on and large suitcase. There is SO much space inside and it folds up to be very compact if you decide not to use it anymore of the flight back, it easily will fit into your luggage. My only wish was that the bottom had more of a solid or hard plastic base so that it wasn't so flexible or bendy when I had things inside. I honestly purchased this bag with low expectations for the price. I figured if I got a few trips out of it, without it falling apart, that I would have gotten my monies worth. I have been very pleasantly surprised. I’ve used this bag on numerous trips, and have even checked it on several flights (I hate lugging bags through airports and on flights). The handles are thick and it came with a strap. I am in love with the flap to slide the bag on to your luggage and its a perfect carryon or weekend bag.
