These are a great idea for many applications. I bought them to replace other broken fasteners, and for me I didn't have access behind the hole to push from behind, so I had to push it through the hole and broke a few in my attempts, but otherwise they work as intended. Depending upon where you install them, they may need attention after snipping off the extra length, for me they are on the top of the grill and I don't want the rough cut to injure or snag anything while leaning over the engine bay from the front, an easy fix, but an extra step out of precaution. Wow! These are amazing. I (not a mechanic or auto body repair person)- just someone trying to cut costs. I chose to make detailing repairs on my car. While putting the front bumper with grill back on, a couple of push button tabs normally used could not hold. This is when these zip button tabs were perfect! I could pull the piece into place and hold it with confidence. It was very stable! Due to its use, the size becomes very versatile by cutting. Definitely worth the money! picked up these nylon self-locking cable ties mainly for car repairs, but I’ve ended up using them in the garage, garden, and even for organizing shelves. They’re sturdier than regular zip ties and the “T rivet” design makes them grip tightly and stay in place once locked. The material feels durable and doesn’t snap easily, even when pulled tight. What I really like is the versatility — I’ve used them to secure loose panels, keep cables in place, and even as a temporary fix on my daughter’s bike. They’re easy to snap in, and once set, they don’t wiggle around. The only drawback is that once you lock them in, you can’t easily reuse them — you’ll have to cut them off. Also, they’re not quite as heavy-duty as metal clips for very large or high-stress jobs, but for everyday automotive and household fixes, they’re perfect. Read more
