Would be great for students too or those who need to schedule quick brain breaks to be more efficient and productive. I absolutely love the design. Nice and compact. Able to quickly switch between timers without having to reset it each time. Just tap on the 5/15/25 and it sets the timer to that length of time, then tap the O to start. The backlight stays on the whole time, making it easy to glance at if needed. Tap the O again to stop the alarm. Plenty loud enough, and not annoying. The dial is amazing too and easy to figure out if you're using it in the kitchen. Have used it at least a couple of full days' worth each week for the past few months and battery still going strong. Work really well, super easy to use, love that there's two as well because my wife will sometimes need to have two timers running at the same time so having both of these is awesome and the fact that they're magnetic is great because we stick them to our vent hood and are in close proximity then so it works great! Great timers, easy to use! My old pomodoro timer died and I wanted to try a timer with the quick, preset times—to continue to keep me from the distracting temptation of setting and using a timer on my phone/tablet. I was already looking at this one out of the options, when it occurred to me it might be nice to pick up a new kitchen timer as well, since the presets seemed like they’d be good for that too, (and this one came in a 2 pack for not much more than a single timer, which seemed like a good value) and they are! Very convenient. I appreciate that it’s easy to set a time that isn’t one of the presets, just twist the rim of the timer, though I find I tend to use my old kitchen timer for short times that aren’t the presets, because I guess tapping a minute button 3 times feels easier in the moment than setting this one for 5 minutes and twisting back to three, but even with that, I still use this timer in the kitchen more often than the old timer now, because the preset times are already perfect for most of my needs. I’d kind of hoped to get my dad (notorious for my whole life for say, setting “teas” boiling on max heat and then wandering away to let all the water boil off) to use this as a kitchen timer since the display is quite large and bright, the sound (at max) is loud, and it’s so easy to use, but unfortunately, he’s not interested, so I guess I’m keeping them both, but that’s okay because like I said, I really appreciate how they work both as a pomodoro timer for getting stuff done as well as a kitchen timer. Love this timer. It looks super modern and it very easy to adjust. I really like the clear visual countdown so it works for traditional things like cooking but also for the kids when they have a time limit on something. Very stylish, cool even. The magnet is solid, really sticks and doesn't mar the fridge. Timer works well and is easy to set after a bit of figuring and shuts off as long as you push evenly. I'm not an even-push guy. I'm usually rushing into the kitchen to turn it off and found that if I didn't push perfectly, it kept on beeping, to my annoyance. Read more
