Great for Glasses and other repairs!
This is a complete kit of just about everything you need to repair your glasses, all in a very convenient storage case! Got this to repair my wife's eyeglasses that came apart because of a missing screw. It comes with a set of MAGNETIC screw drivers, tweezers, and a ton of select size screws and nuts. Also included are an assortment of nose pads. The only thing I needed to help with the repair, was a handy magnifying glass, which I already had. Mission accomplished! ... Worth it.
Well worth it. Unless you are a professional, you will never repair enough glasses to use everything in this kit, although it you use it just once it will have been worth it. Actually I got it to use the screws for all kinds of small work especially pocket watches. I really appreciate the magnetic screwdrivers and Philips head screws. Magnetic drivers and screws make all the difference
I lost a screw from my glasses so I thought I'll take a minute to replace it. Using some old eyeglass screws I had on hand was super frustrating. They were non-magnetic steel and I simply could not get a screw into place while using a magnetized jewelers screwdriver. After 15 minutes of fumbling around and dropping the screw I gave up. I decided I needed screws that could stick to a magnetic screwdriver so I bought these. WOW, what a difference. Using the provided magnetic screwdrivers I was able to insert these new screws in seconds. Well worth the price and I have plenty of spare screws in several sizes for future needs. Read more
