This range finder comes with a cable for charging the built-in battery, lens cloth, string, a detailed manual and a very built sturdy case with a carabiner. It's not just for golf as it operates on measuring different levels of reflectivity. On the golf course, it allows you to lock onto a flag with the ability to pick the appropriate club and allows for adjustments that might be required on both positive and negative slopes, but I've haven't used this feature as yet. I've also used it to measure distance on roads and in the woods and it provides me with accurate distances. My unit came significantly charged to use right away which is a plus. The visibility is remarkably clear, and it provides both single and continuous measurement. I was able to test and determine distances using multiple units (Yards/Meters/Feet) and the readings are accurate. This rangefinder exceeded my expectations! The lock-on is incredibly fast almost instant and the vibration feature makes it easy to confirm you’ve hit the flag. The display is bright and crystal clear, even in different lighting conditions, and the 7X magnification really helps with accuracy at longer distances. As a novice golfer, I’m using this mainly to see how far I’m hitting a ball while at the driving range. I can see this being useful as well for measuring distance and angle at the golf course.
