A Tabby in Curlers—November 27, 2025✓ Verified purchase
Excellent product! Pros: * Sturdy metal, strong & stable, holes are cut so all pieces fit together easily, no sharp edges. * Very easy to assemble. Takes 10-15 min, but that's cuz I read directions & take my time. Basically, 8 screws needed (a 9th is provided just in case) & the other pieces just slide into place. A small, sturdy Allen wrench & plain aluminium wrench are included. (I didn't need the latter). * Sturdy wheels which have locks to prevent a runaway garment rack; it's easy to maneuver from room to room. * Top horizontal bar pulls out on each end to give another 20" (10" each side) of room to hang more clothing. * 4 small hooks (2 on each pole) to hang belts or handbags. If you have belts with buckles, you can fit 2-4 on each hook. * 3 heights are way taller than I'd expected. The lowest height from floor to top bar is 5'8". The top is 6'4". Great if you have long coats or gowns. Good to know: * It claims 760-lbs capacity. I'm going to say that although I'll never have clothing that heavy, I'd be comfortable putting 250-lbs on the rack... 760 seems a big claim. So, can you fill it with as many heavy winter coats as can fit? Yep, with ease. You're not going to have any issues with it tipping over, like cheaper made racks. Can you hang on it like in the pic? Yes, I tested it (I'm 135-lbs). But, the bottom rack does give in slightly when I put casual weight on it, not my full body weight. My point is, if you have small kids who like to play hide-n-seek & might enjoy stomping on your rack with their rugrat friends, fill the bottom with something, even if it's just books or boxes so there's no room to invite them. You don't want to end up with bent rods & have trouble disassembling the rack then putting it together again, should need be. All in all, this is a solid 5* out of 5. The price is great. I had a professional garment rack that was $300+ & yep, you could put your full body weight on that & ride it around the room without the metal budging an inch. This one isn't as sturdy, but don't get me wrong, it is very strong, stable & sturdy, just not 750-lbs worth of weight, imho. I've also known others who had those racks half the price of this one & they crumble, tip & fall over under the lightest of weight. This one is perfect! Read more

I doubt if someone could really do a pull-up on this, but it is sturdy and hold my stuff without straining. It was easy to put together and rolls around with no issues. I wish it has wheel stoppers so it didn't move so freely. I think it was worth the cost. Read more

Nicely made. It does what it is intended to do! I may order another one. It was easy to assemble. And the wheels make it easy to move around. I like the size and the fact that there are pull out arms if needed. We are using it while we have a closet custom built. I am not sure of the weight of our hats and coats but this clothing rack is holding up well. Read more

The real plus about this item is the ease of assembly. There is nothing worse than getting an article with bad pictures and instructions written for English speakers by someone who is not familiar with English. What that really highlights is that said item is not engineered for assembly by amateurs. This garment rack almost needs no instructions. Straightforward, simple and clear, just like home assembly ahould be. The end product is sturdy and not unattractive, meeting the requirements of any good home garment rack. Five Stars! Read more

I purchased the gold rack and overall it is very beautiful. Looks exactly as pictured, adjustable, actual gold color rather than those mushy yellows you get scammed for. The top is a little wobbly as to be expected since you can’t screw in something you’re going to move but the base is very tight and seems durable. This item was very well packaged, each part individually wrapped with no scrapes or damaged parts. It also came with all the tools needed to assemble it which was very nice however I will say that when I was assembling it there was a wire sticking out of one of the bottoms poles which made it impossible to screw in, however in the end I was able to get the right angle to push the wire back in, in which I was able to screw the pole in as normal. Also, for the top rack the right side was not sized properly to fit into the right pole. In the end I had to shave it down a bit and then shove it in, but I managed to make it work. I would assume this was just a poorly made individual package since no one else seems to have had that problem. I will also note that although pictured with black pieces halfway down the poles on the sides in the final product, I had to remove the black pieces in order to get the side poles to fit into the bottom base poles. Solid and was very easy to assemble. It took me about 20 minutes from start to finish. It came with all hardware, easy to follow instructions, a small wrench, and it even came with pair of cotton gloves to help with assembly, which I didn't need. It's holding a lot of clothes and feels very study, and it glides easily and smoothly across the floor. Read more

I needed a place to hang my clothes during a renovation. I also wanted a quality product that I could continue to use in a basement area. When the rack arrived, the box seemed too light and I was expecting a potential return. So happy that the rack became more sturdy as it went together. It's working well in the middle of my living room and I am glad to have a solution for my basement as well. Read more
