For using the red light feature to detect potential pinhole camera lenses ..yes you have some stand off distance to work with. However the GPS or wifi detection requires being close to the source for effective triggering (even with the variable “power”). So it is nice and compact, the features do work, detection of GPS and signals works but you have to be close to the source which I think means you need to have a pretty good idea, ahead of time, of where you think the suspected source is.
