It leaves much to be desired with only 1 magnet in the top center and it's not quite lined up right once in the tank even after moving it around to ensure it wasn't stuck somehow. I have other magnetic things similar that lined up fine so it's not how thick or thin the tank is. There's a big gap at the top while closed. It's cute and goes in easy enough. The upgraded magnetic detachable aquarium hideaway hollow tree cave is definitely an interesting idea for a fish tank hideout. I like the design, and it seems like it could be a fun resting and breeding spot for my nano fish and shrimp. That said, I do have some concerns. The magnets feel very strong, and I worry about the cave shifting or moving around inside the tank and with repeated use, will it damage the glass. I’m also unsure how well it will hold up long-term with my set up, so I haven’t fully committed to using it yet. The media could not be loaded. I haven’t put this in my tank yet since I still need to add some felt or something to the magnets, but I really like the look of it. The magnets are extremely strong, which is nice for keeping it secure, but it makes me a little nervous about it snapping directly against the glass. Once I get the felt and the tank finishes cycling, I think it’ll make a really neat hideaway for my future fish. The design is attractive, and I like that it’s detachable for easy cleaning.
