This lightweight 72” long garment bag for dresses is a great solution for storing and / or traveling with formal dresses, bridal gowns, costumes, or long dresses, as well as all of the accessories that go with it. I had been looking for a good way to store my small collection of longer gowns that I wear only occasionally, such as for weddings and other rare formal events. I wanted a solution that would keep my dresses from getting wrinkled and also to keep the dust off of them if I store them in an attic or closet, etc. I like that this garment bag can allow me to hang up multiple dresses as well as their accessories such as necklaces or earrings or bracelets or other jewelry, or undergarments or shapeware or even a pair of formal shoes. The whole thing folds up carefully, and then there are straps to help keep it compressed and even some shoulder straps so that you could easily carry it through an airport or into a hotel, etc. I could see this bag working very well for brides or for anyone who competes in pageants or other shows that require special garments that need to be transported without wrinkling or bunching up. The material isn’t super thick, so I would definitely not check it as luggage, but it would work fine as a carry-on if you handle it gently. The photo shows it attaching to your suitcase handle but there is no way it would stay intact and upright like the pictures show, nice try AI. It is not rigid and does not have a stiff side that would allow it to work that way. You could roll the whole thing up. Lots of pockets inside to organize and store anything you need to bring with you. Bottom of the bag has an area that expands to allow for dresses with trains. Overall a good solution, but it could be improved with upgraded fabric, as this fabric will probably not last more than a few years, unless you are very very gentle with it and mostly just keep it at home in a closet. I ordered this dress bag for my formal gowns that are too long for most other garment bags. This bag has the length I need, but it actually has a lot of extras, as well. There are numerous pockets on the front and back to hold various accessories. The bag can be hung or it can be folded for travel. It has handle straps, and it also includes a longer shoulder strap. I really like that it also has straps that clip on the sides to securely hold the bag closed, because not all dress bags have this. The material is heavy duty in quality, yet light enough that it won’t add extra weight to your dress. The color is a lovely champagne color that is perfect for wedding dresses, or any dress for that matter. Personally, since I plan to use this more for travel, I will likely be using it mostly for formal dresses when I go on cruises or to formal events. Depending on the size of your gowns, it has the potential to fit more than one, maybe a few if they aren’t too thick. This storage bag has been a whole life saver when it came to one keeping my dress hidden and two keeping all my garments and accessories together in one spot! There's so many pockets deep and short to fit everything. I was able to fit my stuff including my heels, my husband to be-s clothes and some stuff that was our daughters. The upgraded version of the 72" wedding dress garment bag is well-thought out and well-made. The sturdy Oxford cloth is strong and heavy-duty with water resistance as well. The features of the bag make quite a long list. The shoulder pads for carrying the bag are padded. The bag can be folded for easy carry and also can be slipped over the handle of a suitcase for easy travel. There are multiple pockets for accessories.
