This Clean Clad Kit is a great combo pack of two 4 ounce bottles. One is an Advanced Spot Cleaner, and the other is a Grease & Oil Stain Remover. In their literature, they provide a really helpful and detailed spotting chart that offers suggestions on which product to use depending on the type of stain. It even tells you in what order to use the products for more difficult stains. So, for everything from beverage stains to cooking oil stains to tomato sauce stains, the nice chart tells you just what to do. These Clean Clad Kit products can be used on a variety of fabrics, carpets, and upholstery, although they suggest to always test a small are first. I tried these products on an old carpet stain that looked mostly like grease tracked in from someone’s shoe, and just using the Grease & Oil Stain Remover bottle, it did a decent job. First, I just applied some of the product directly on the stain and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, they suggested spraying the area with distilled water. I used regular tap water. Then, I got a dry rag and started to blot the area to remove the stain. It did a nice job! I think some stains may require repeated application, but they mention in their product details that it might take a couple of times to really get the stains out. So far, I’m really liking this combo set, and I now I need to get after some of the stains around the house! The only think I would mention that would improve this product is if the bottles had some kind of a dispenser cap like a squirt bottle hole, a dropper plug, or an eye dropper cap. This kit is great to have on hand as specifically addresses two different types of stains. There is a 4oz bottle for Grease and oil stains as well as 4oz bottle for advanced spots. I had a small unidentified stain on my brown corduroy sofa and this product was able to remove it completely. This kit also comes with a spot cleaning chart and some white paper blotters. The company is very consumer oriented and they enclose an email where you can contact them if you have any questions, issues or success stories. The clean clad carpet cleaning kit arrived in a brown cardboard box with a sticker label on the top. Each of the two small bottles of cleaning solution had a seal under the lid, though one is seal was not actually sealed. There was an instructional card. Any piece of paper towel also included. I spot treated a couple of stains on an area rug, you can see them in the attached photo. The carpet cleaning system worked because I can't see those stains anymore. The bottles are small, so they won't treat super big stains. Also, there's not a good way to control how much of it comes out of the bottle. And $19 for two small bottles of carpet cleaner is quite pricey. Four stars due to the price. Read more

This stain remover works okay, but it's difficult to use. For the price, you don't get very much product. There's no sprayer so you end up just trying to pour a little out at a time. Again, at this price point, there should be an easier way to dispense the product--even a little spout would work. Read more

Between our toddler and our dog we are constantly finding spots on the carpet and couch that half the time we cannot even identify what it was caused by. I was happy to put this product to the test to see if it really had the stain removing qualities that it claims and I am happy to report that it really does work wonderfully! Easy to use and super effective, this is one of those products that you should probably just go ahead and order to autoship because you will certainly find yourself wanting (or needing) more!
