I bought this for my JD tractor. By the measurements in the ad, it should have just slipped into the case. The specs from JD said this was a little smaller than the original, but it turned out to be a tighter fit (larger). I had to really push it in to seat it. It was fully charged on arrival, and it spun the tractor right up faster than the old battery ever did. All in all, I am very satisfied with it so far, but I don't look forward to the time I need to remove it for whatever reason. Read more
Had to search for a lawnmower battery in the dimensions that would fit in compartment under my seat. Finally found this one and is a little higher in CCA rating the my original. Also, says it will have a 5 year life warranty and the original battery was failing at the 3 year period. It would drop enough in power in between uses that would not turn over the motor enough to start. Would require removal and a hook up to battery charger for 30 - 40 minutes to get strength back up. So far, as expected, this replacement battery is performing as it should. Read more
