My cat with any other water bowl would splash water EVERYWHERE and also move it all over the place in the process. After quite a few different water bowls I tried this one. It's been a week and so far he has only managed to move it an inch and that was just once. Water is no longer all over the place and it's the perfect size for 2 cats. I refill it every couple days. These work well for two of our cats but our third is a gremlin and these are not great for. And he's the one we bought them for. He manages to remove the lid-thing that snaps in place, and he still moves and spills the water. I wish they'd make that snap a bit tighter for behavior cats. One of my big issues with the design is the floater that sits in the water. Old water can get inside of it and if there's food particles in it, it will go stale and decay. So unless you use something like a margarine knife to pop it open and clean out each time you refill the bowls — it could pose a risk of leaking back out into clean water. The media could not be loaded. I honestly wasn’t convinced this product would really work, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. This no-spill water bowl has been a game changer for my dogs. My dogs are very old (18 years old) and almost blind. They used to trip over their regular water bowl all the time and spill water all over the floor. Since switching to this bowl, that problem is completely gone. The water no longer spills, and it also prevents splashing, so my dogs stay much cleaner. Even though it’s a slow water feeder, it’s not difficult for them to drink from at all. They adapted very easily and actually seem to like it. Another big plus is that the water stays much cleaner, since before they would constantly mix food into their water. Overall, this bowl has made our daily routine so much easier and cleaner. Nope! We have cats that love to "swim", sloshing all the water out of all the bowls every time. Unfortunately, this bowl is no different. My over-intelligent little smart-ass figured it out in a day, standing in the middle of the floaty bit, pushing it down to the bottom of the bowl, giving him access to the whole bowl of water and allowing him to happily splash about as usual. I bought this because my cat likes to dunk everything! He has some interactive toys that can't get wet without damage so I got this to protect those items. It's worked perfectly for that purpose. Also keeps water from being dumped all over the floor. Read more
