Really nice!

I'm 5' and about 145 lbs. The length hits below knee. The weight is light enough for the in-between season but substantial enough to get me through a Phoenix winter. Its pull-on style is comfortable and flattering. I bought the black skirt and it is opaque. The fabric has a nice conforming structure. It has a way of holding you in just a little, which is nice when you have a meno belly and hip curves. I am planning to style it with a button-down shirt that is tied at the waist and a tee or tank style top. It would go really nicely with tall boots with heels or even wedge boots. Read more

Fabric has a good weight, fits well and lays well.

Let’s start with the recommended sizing (size chart provided). I ordered an X-LARGE, navy blue skirt. For reference my dimensions are: 32” high waist, 34” low waist, 44” hips, 38” out seam (from hip bone to heel), 140#, and my weight is carried in my low mid section, hips and thighs. (Classic pear). The size chart indicates X-LARGE should fit 33.85” waists. I found that the skirt fits comfortably in the waist, without any undesirable stretching. I suspect, with the cut of the skirt, a human with a waist at least a couple inches larger would also find this comfortable. The fabric has enough weight that it provides a nice structure to the drape of the cut of the skirt. The fabric is not cut on the bias, as most a-line skirts, but the panels are cut on the grain, with an angle from top to bottom, Since the hem girth is not too wide, there isn’t a lot of extra fabric to add bulk if your bottom heavy, which is great. It falls in a straight line from waist to hem which really lends itself to camouflaging a heavier mid section without that obvious front bulge that a tighter garment would illuminate. The composition of the fabric is viscose, nylon and elastane. Since viscose is a semi-synthetic fabric made from wood pulp, it will definitely shrink if you wash this skirt in warm to hot water and definitely if you dry it. I find allowing it to hang dry, then tossing it in the dryer with a fabric sheet and an ice cube, helps any wrinkles fall out without the shrinkage, then if further pressing is needed a quick steam takes care of the rest. If you traditionally iron this fabric without a pressing cloth as a barrier, you *will* create those over-pressed shiny seams that this type of fabric is known for. The fabric feels like a good quality ponte, not a jersey knit, which would account for the nice weight of the fabric. I imagine some might find this skirt to be a little on the warm side in the summer if you live in a higher-heat climate. Lastly, I wanted to add that again, due to the weight of the fabric, if you have an opposition to compression garments, as long as you size correctly, there will be no need. Regular undergarments will serve just fine. Read more

The perfect work skirt

S. PierceMay 6, 2025✓ Verified purchase

I got this in two colors (grey & black) & they have become my go-to, 3-season work skirts. Nice thick fabric, soft (doesn’t itch). Not clingy yet not dowdy. Hits the knee. Waistband stretches slightly. Arrived with slight wrinkles; I ran them through the shower and they drip-dried smooth. Good value considering how much use I’ll get from them. Read more

Cute, but NO DRYER!!!

Kleine LauraDecember 22, 2024✓ Verified purchase

This skirt fits true to size. I love the weight and texture of the fabric. It dresses up or down well and is so comfortable. There are no drying instructions in the item description or on the tag. I just dried it in the dryer and IT SHRANK 3 INCHES!!! Beware! Thanks to Amazon’s wonderful customer service I’m exchanging the shrunken skirt for a new one. I have learned my lesson and will launder appropriately in the future. Read more

Great wardrobe staple!

BridgetNovember 29, 2025✓ Verified purchase

I love this skirt. I ordered 5 colors in XL, but I'm losing weight, so I'm returning all 5 for L. It has lots of stretch, so if I get a smaller size and lose a little more weight, it won't be as noticeable. This is a staple product for any wardrobe. The skirts are thick but not lined. They also have a nice flow. Read more
