Customers find the skirt well-made with a weighted fabric and appreciate its style, with one noting its beautifully vintage pleated design. The length receives mixed feedback - while some say it's just below the knee, others mention it's not as shown in the picture. The elastic waistband is both praised for being a life saver and criticized for being too much. Customers disagree on the sizing, with some finding it bi

I’m 5’5”, about 130Lbs . 27” waist. I ordered a navy size small. This skirt is perfect! It hits just below the knee. Sits perfectly on the smallest part of my waist. The material is flowing and does not wrinkle easily. The color is a great navy blue; not too dark, not too royal blue. Just exactly navy. I also ordered a similar skirt from another seller. I knew that one would be mostly cotton. I am not as happy with it. It is shorter, and very wrinkly. Also, the entire waist of the other skirt is elastic, while this one has a flat waist band in the front and only elastic in the back, giving it a classier look. My only complaint is I wish it came in even more prints and colors. Read more
So, I'm a big fan of the skirt overall. It has the elastic waist, but just at the back so the front still has a nice clean look. It's also substantial enough not to be see through, but a nice light fabric overall so could be worn in any season. I'm 5'10'' and I have trouble finding things that are long enough, but this one does the trick and falls right below my knees. The pockets are excellent. The one thing is that the (completely unnecessary) zipper seems to be poor quality and keeps doing that thing where the zipper comes undone while the zipper pull is zipped all the way to the top. I may end up having to sew the zipper up. Read more
This skirt looks gorgeous on. The color is lovely. It came fast and when I saw it was impressed. Fabric is nice and soft. It has some weight to it, so I wouldn’t worry about wearing it on a windy day. My only concern would be the zipper, it looks kind of flimsy but it will do for now. I’m 5’2 and length is below the knee. I am curvy, around 190lbs and wear a size 12 jeans. Saw all the reviews and decided to go with the L. I think I should have sized up for more comfort but it doesn’t feel or look tight around my waist area at all. The back side of waist is very stretchy. Pockets are a huge plus. This skirt made me feel gorgeous! Read more
Great fit and love the pockets, but like everyone says, the back of the skirt looks very cheap with the elastic visible. Good for casual wear, but not for pairing with formal tops. Nor if you want a high-waist style. Read more
I have to leave a 5 star review, because even though the skirt didn't fit my body type (I'm a curvy, 60 year old woman), I want to let you know that the quality of this product absolutely astonished me. It is so well made, with an inner liner, nice substantial (but not too heavy) material, an elastic band at the back of the skirt. The length was exactly as described. The other reviewers who suggested sizing down were accurate. I'm an XL and bought a L, which fit perfectly (but the skirt didn't look good on my shape). Now, bear in mind that I'm 60. For you younger, curvy girls, I think this would look spectacular when pared with a cute top. On me, it just looked frumpy. But, it hangs well, and would be really adorable on a younger person. That's my honest review. I sent it back, but not because I didn't like it. It's one of the best quality pieces of clothing I've tried on from Amazon. Read more
i ordered this skirt in a small red at first. But when I received it- not only did it fit just a tad big in the waist (I have a 26.5 waist) but the zipper also got stuck when I was trying it on and I couldn't get out of it!! I ended up having to cut the zipper in order to get free. And we tried for a good half hour. Despite the skirt seeming to be just a tiny bit loose in the waist it was so perfect and I was sad that the zipper was defective. Thank goodness for Amazon prime. I sent it back free of charge and replaced it with the army green skirt also in a small. I was even willing to have it taken in. But no need. The skirt arrived today and fits beyond perfect. I'm so happy I gave it a second chance. For those that it is helpful to, I'm 5'6.5, 125-130 pounds And usually a 2 in dresses, small in shirts and a 4 in jeans in women sizes. The skirt is lined and is excellent quality. It has a little weight to it and not see through. I think it might be a little hot in the summer if you live in a humid area. It’s a great skirt and I highly recommend. Update 3/3/20- 2 years later I’ve also bought this skirt in the blush pink, black, grey, and just got it in khaki. The last color I plan to get it in is navy. Since the first two I bought, they’ve changed the pattern to an elastic-back waist to accommodate varying waist sizes which is nice. I preferred the original pattern because it just looked more put together in my opinion but it’s still very nice. It washes well. I hang dry them (but I hang dry all my clothes to preserve color and texture.) In the winter I wear them with knee high boots and leggings to keep warm. In the summer I wear them with heels or sandals. I’m glad I didn’t let my first experience deter me from this gem. Read more

I purchased 3 in a size medium. I typically buy medium. My waist is 28.5”, hips 39” and I’m 5’10”. All 3 fit differently. Pink was so tight that the elastic folded. The black was pretty snug at the waist but tolerable. The green fit perfectly!. In the hand, the pink was about 1.5” smaller than green! I would exchange for a large but am afraid it will be too big. I don’t want to look frumpy. I’m able to fix the waistband by opening the fabric from the inside and extending the elastic but just a heads up. I also heard you can iron the elastic to relax the tension (likely the heat affects the rubber to release a bit but it also messes with the integrity of the elastic). I’m keeping them. They’re cute. They deel of good quality. The exchange would be more of a pain than fixit myself, just be aware of the inconsistency. Read more
