What I liked most about this skirt is the material and the fit. I absolutely love the material. I did not want a cheep looking black skirt, and this one is NOT cheep looking at all. It’s made of good quality material. It’s durable with a little stretch to it. The length is just below the knee not too long. It runs a little small, but because it’s made of good material you may need the next size up, if you heavy hips you will need the next size up. The quality of the material got you. Nice looking fabric, hits just above the knee with a slit for a nice feminine touch. I normally wear an XS and the waistband is a bit snug but not enough that I'd try a small, as I think the hips would be too big. Read more

It is very long, not above the knee at all. The zipper is very poorly attached, it juts out at a weird angle, no matter where I position the skirt. It's not a fitted skirt at the bottom like in the picture but instead it has a flowing ruffled bottom. The description says it has elastic, but as I mentioned, it has a zipper. I just think they sent me the wrong thing. This skirt would be great for a racy flamenco dancer Halloween costume, but not for the date night I was planning. Returned. This skirt fits me great and works wonderfully even in the winter. I am able to pair it with anything from heels to flip flops depending on where I am headed and the weather. The length is perfect to allow for some modestly, but has a great slit on the side to bring a slight sexy feel to the skirt.
