I used the yellow which are extra light resistance. If that's what you're looking for, these are great. I teach group fitness, balance, & gait to older deconditioned adults. I use these for everything. Upper and lower body seated strength exercises and stretching. I love using bands because my participants don't have equipment and can't afford to buy any. This one piece does it all. It holds up, it's easy for them to handle, and I can afford to give them out free for the price. If you've got someone who needs light resistance these are great. Because they're so light almost everyone can get at least a little stretch out of them and that makes them feel a lot better than heavier ones they can't get any movement out of. I say go for it. The size and resistance value are perfect for my needs. I am a 68 year old man recovering from knee and hip injuries. I use the resistance bands for floor exercises to strengthen the injured areas. The first band broke on the 3rd day. I have used other bands in the past that lasted for several months before giving way. Buyer beware. UPDATE: 2nd band broke after about 3 weeks of use. I notified the seller of my concerns with the premature breaking issues and they sent me a new pack of 5 bands without charge. I am adding one star for their prompt and agreeable response. Read more
Theses bands are latex free, so even though that didn’t matter in my case, it could be an important detail for others. They are 1 inch wider and 2 inches longer than most I looked at. I had previously purchased a pack that were the lesser size. They folded when using and gave a very small range of movement. As a person just getting back to resistance bands, the medium set was fine for my purposes. If you are already a regular to resistance bands, the heavier resistance sets will probably be a better fit. I will be ordering the next level of these bands when I ‘m ready to move up, as I find them to be a superior product. Read more
