Needed a small add on for USB-A and C ports with an A or C connection. This does it all. A and C ports and doesn't need power. I have some wireless transmitters and input devices on it and it works fine. You can power it if wanted. Plug nad play, compact and a good cord length if needed. Read more
I bought this device to get more i/o ports on my M4 Mac Mini. This unit uses one port – USB A, C, or Thunderbolt – to provide three additional USB C ports and four USB A v3.0 ports. I already have several similar units, but they aren’t designed to support peripherals that draw a lot of current, such as multiple terrabyte HDDs, or optical drives. The Adapter / Hub has a separate Type C jack to bring in additional power. You are not *required* to provide additional power; it works fine without it, as long as the attached devices don’t demand a lot of power. I provide extra power to mine with a Type C charging cable that attaches to a Sabrent 10-hole charger. My sole concern is that this unit gets warm. Mounted vertically on a cabinet wall that’s at 75 ºF, with the Sabrent charger connected and no loads plugged into the hub, its temperature increases to more that 99 ºF. Although it’s warm, it shows no functional issues. Read more
This has been working nicely for me for many months now. I gave it 4 stars because you do have to make sure it is in an open space at all times. I was sick and working from home, sitting on the couch with a blanket, and this was laying underneath my blanket. I accidentally moved it with my hand and noticed it was very hot to the touch. When out in the open, on my desk, it is just very slightly warm. Nothing to be alarmed about, but I am very cautious now & make sure it is never underneath anything/covered up. Performance otherwise has been as expected. Doesn't seem to charge things quickly if you are using one of the USB ports to charge a device or headphones. Seemed like it took forever to charge. Works great though for all my computer/monitor/keyboard/mouse needs. Read more
Nice Little hub the way ports are placed and the length of the cable being a good enough without causing wire stress makes this a welcome addition. Remember this does not come with a power connector to make this a powered hub but this is not a reason for me to take a star away as I read the description and knew exactly what I was getting. I was looking for a decent hub with multiple usbc ports and this one is fantastic. Great deal and now I can plug multiple devices into my Switch 2 and Steam Deck! Read more
I had to return this. It just didn't work from any port on my MSI laptop. It could very well be I just got a bad one or it got damaged in transit. There is no way to know if it was some incompatibility. Read more

I have had this for a while now and it does everything I need it for. Looking in the product description it says it is not for charging, honestly I do not need it for that. I used it to connect my phone to my computer and it worked perfectly. I only have a charger with USB-C on that end. It works for both USB-A and USB-C very well. I plugged in my USB-C Earpods that I have not been able to use because I have an older iPhone and it works perfectly on my Linux PC. It sounds really well too. Overall I love this product and it can do anything I need it for. Read more
