This is not a 40W charger. As with many products these days, we've come to expect marketing to add some extra claims, when in reality, it's often less than advertised. I compared this Topabol 40W Charger to an Apple M1 MacBook Air 30W Charger. Claimed // Measured, Apple 30W Charger: 20v // 19.7v 1.5a // 1.45a 30w // 28.6w Claimed // Measured, Topabol 40W (45W ??) Charger: 15v // 14.6v 3a // 1.91a 40w (45w??) // 28.0w The Topabol fast charger claims 40W, but the brick itself shows 15V x 3A which equals a calculated 45W. You can see the actual measured wattage was 28W (14.6v x 1.91a = 28w) The Apple 30W charger actually came close to its claims, charging at 19.7v x 1.45a = 28.6W. You'll notice the different voltage and amps compared to the Topabol, but still equaling a similar ~28W. So in reality, this is a 30W charger. Marketing just added the extra to claim it as 40W/45W. Perhaps the M1 MacBook Air is the limiting factor? Despite it coming with a 30W charger, apparently it is capable of faster charging up to 45W using a higher wattage charger. All that to say, the Topabol still a good charger, especially considering the value you get for the price. This includes 2 chargers, and 4 USB-C cords. And for that, you can't complain too much. This is my review of the Topabol 40W USB C Fast Charger and USB-c to USB-c cables. This purchase arrives with two power chargers and four charger cables. The product comes with a 2 year warranty and registration couldn’t be easier. Just focus your camera on the Qr image link on the box. It will take you to the registration website. Enter your order number and email address and you’re all set. In this review I will be comparing this product to the gold standard, Apple brand chargers and cables. Visually the build quality of the chargers and cables is quite good. The chargers are identical in size to Apple, feel solid, well built, and every bit as nice as Apple chargers. Two of the cables are 70” long. The other two cables are 46.5” long. All 4 cables appear to be as good quality if not better than genuine Appple cables. The Topabol cables are slightly thicker and more durable feeling than OEM Apple cables which I like. I tested these chargers on my Apple iPad Pro (12.9-inch 6th generation), Apple iwatch Ultra 3, and IPhone Pro Max 14 (using OEM lightning cable). I tested these devices going from 20% to 80%, 1st using the Topabol chargers and cables, then using the OEM Apple chargers and cables. I took screenshots of the times from start (20%) to finish (80%). Here are my results: iPad with Apple charger took 97 minutes iPad with Topabol charger 67 minutes iPhone Pro Max 14 Apple charger took 55 minutes iPhone Pro Max 14 Topabol charger 144 minutes Ultra 3 watch with Apple Charger 45 minutes Ultra 3 watch with Topabol charger 40 minutes. I conclude the longer charging time for the Topabol charger on the IPhone 14 was due to using the thinner Apple lightning cable. The extra 89 minutes was still quite reasonable, particularly when I look at the Topabol’s outstanding performance on the iPad and Iwatch. Considering the Topabol’s overall versatility with multiple devices, robust power, and build quality, I would have to say it is an excellent value for 2 charging units with 4 cables.
