I purchased this adaptor with a new Monitor so that I can connect my MAC Book to the new monitor. I was unsure if I chose the right one and I very much did. All I had to do was simply plug the adaptor into my MAC Book and then plug the HDMI cable into the adaptor and within milliseconds, the screens connected and now I have two screens to use for my designing needs. I bought this hub hoping it would work as an adapter so I could connect my MacBook to an HDMI display (Samsung SmartTV in this case), and it worked perfectly. As an added bonus, the material, overall look, construction quality, etc. all look very similar to my MacBook; it looks very much like an Apple product at a fraction of the cost. The 5in1 USB C HUB was an excellent product that not only allowed me to plug in both a mouse and or key board, but also allowed me to use one of my monitors. It’s not too heavy and pretty easy to use. It’s clearly marked so you can see what port goes where, and I give it an 8/10. Read more
