I ordered this 8-in-1 multiport hub to use with my Samsung devices. I like to use Samsung DeX with my monitors and TVs. This allows me to hook up to a 4K 60Hz HDMI port. Having this hub turns my phone or tablet into a mini-computer. I can hardwire this to my cable modem or router for the fastest internet possible. I can connect two USB-A devices and one USB-C for accessories like a keyboard or mouse. This does have pass-through charging up to 100W. You do want to make sure you use a PD power supply. When using my Samsung PPS adapter, my phone wouldn't charge correctly. After switching to a PD power adapter, it worked great. This isn't just nice for DeX; it comes in handy in my car when I want to view my dash cam's SD card. This has an SD and microSD card slot for instant access. The pass-through charging, USB, card readers, and internet ports will work with most USB-C devices. The HDMI port, on the other hand, needs a video output capable device. Most laptops support video output, but not all phones and tablets do. In order to use the HDMI output on a tablet or phone, it must be compatible. USB hub with various connectors, which comes in handy for desktop (especially SD card) but more with laptops. It has SD/MicroSD, USB-A x2, USB-C data, USB-c power, ethernet, and HDMI. Please note the difference between 2 USB-C. One by the SD card only provides power and USB-C memory stick will not be recognized by your computer. One by the USB-A port will definitely work for the memory card. All the ports worked without any issues. One unique feature on this is the cast screen button. I didn't even realize what that cast button was but it does work. It is made from a metal enclosure, as it is cool to touch and should help with dissipating heat on long use. The USB ports and card readers handle data transfer and power delivery without any hiccups, and the HDMI port provides a stable signal. However, there are some significant drawbacks, particularly regarding power and design. The 100W PD charging claim is misleading, in reality, the hub only delivers about 50W of power, even when connected to a high-capacity 140W brick. Additionally, the standalone USB-C charging port provides even less than that. This power deficit means it won't keep up with a MacBook Pro under medium to heavy workloads, leading to slow charging or battery drain while you work. The design also includes a unlabeled button that toggles the HDMI signal. It defaults to "Off" with no explanation in the manual, which can be incredibly confusing during your first setup. While it's a budget-friendly option for a MacBook Air or Windows Ultrabook, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone doing serious, power-intensive work. Read more

This USB C hub is loaded. For the pros it has a good assortment of ports that iPads and older MacBooks lack: network plug; SD and Micro SD. It also adds another HDMI port if needed. A really unique feature is a button that lets you turn off the attached HDMI device without having to unplug it. The cons are that it only had 3 USB ports and only one of those is type C - so you get back the port you plugged into and two USB A 3.0 ports; extending your new ports by a count of two. This is a good quality usb C hub. I needed one because my MacBook doesn't have a USB slot. I am using it to connect my mouse and to read my SD card. I'm able to charge my phone as well. It has a lot of connecting slots. I'm not that tech savvy so I don't know what they are all called, but I just know that it has all the connecting slots I need. The quality looks and feels good and doesn't feel cheap. It connects to my laptop with the C wire. The price isn't bad and it works well. I'm happy with it. Read more
