I have a Lenovo Chromebook Duet5 (also highly recommended). Not the most common tablet I confess, but the issues are universal. If you want to get work done, connectivity is key. Modern tablets don't have headphone jacks, extra USB ports, card readers, or anything thing really. This hub has changed my tablet from a means of watching movies to a means for creating things. For a photographer, the SD card slot is great for viewing and editing photos. The USB allows me to plug in a mouse or a Xbox controller, even a full sized keyboard. And the HDMI lets me throw the whole thing onto a big screen. Works for most smartphones too. A great value for the expandability it offers. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This was purchased for my Lenovo E15 - I only have one USB C port on my Laptop, I needed to connect my iPad and also a portable drive. With the laptop charger connected I can charge all my devices and use them without swapping out cables or chargers. Not having to worry about losing power during a project is a huge bonus. The price was fair for the options. HDMI also works well if your laptop doesn't have one. This would be a great gift to a student if they only have a laptop. plug this in for a desktop experience. This was the only hub / dock on Amazon that had the assortment of ports I wanted, and I like everything about it except one thing: The audio jack has a faint hum and also makes data noises very much like a modem. It is quite clear that the this is a design flaw, and that they simply didn't isolate the audio circuit on the chip or circuit board from the rest of the circuits. I.e. the audio port output is picking up signal from the data circuits. (the problem is significantly increased when external power is plugged into the PD port) That's too bad, because the sound quality if the actual audio (playing music, voice, etc) is nice. Its just the noise in the line is too annoying. Could not possibly use this for a professional presentation or anything like that. I already contacted Amazon support about this and told them I did not want to leave a bad review but preferred to contact the manufacturer directly so that they could possibly address the issues, unfortunately Amazon sent an exchange item and it has exactly the same problem. So definitely a design issue and not just a lone defective unit. If the manufacturer or seller wants to contact me I'd be happy to discuss this further, but it all boils down to: redesign the audio circuit and isolate it better. Read more

Have been used this type-c product for a feveral times,well, everything is ok,I check lots of type c hub,the reason I choose this because it's comes with two type c port ,one for power another one is for date transfer, that is very important for me because lots portable device use type c connector now, and also it comes with one 3.5mm port, that is more better for me sometimes u may need it to connect headphone and type c hub same time when u use cellphone and tablet which without 3.5mm port. I bought this for my MacBook Pro and use it all the time! It works great and has all of the ports I need. I did end up buying a different one that has two HDMI outputs for certain times when I need that. Other than those situations, this has been my go-to hub for day-to-day use. Read more
