I own three different DAC devices and have tested them with multiple high-end headsets and earbuds, and this BZINK USB-C to 3.5mm adapter absolutely blows the Apple DAC out of the water. The difference is immediate and obvious. My other aftermarket DAC isn’t even close in terms of dynamics, clarity, or overall soundstage. This little adapter delivers rich detail, powerful output, and clean, distortion-free audio that truly does justice to quality headphones. The dual-chip setup (CX31993 + MAX97220) clearly makes a real-world difference, and the build quality—especially the silver-plated cable—feels far more premium than the price suggests. As an audiophile, I can confidently say this is the way to go if you want excellent sound from a USB-C device without spending a fortune. Hands down the best DAC I’ve personally used in this category. The best $18 I’ve spent in a long time. I liked it so much I ordered a second one for my wife. Excellent product. Highly recommended. 🔊🔥 Read more

Headset I am using is a Massdrop 6xx @ 300 ohm resistance. The amp power is borderline or enough for most users on max volume at 300 ohm resistance but I wasn't expecting much for this price range. I would recommend it as is but if you need further power and control then I would recommend you download EQ software (EQ APO + Peace GUI) for the best sound experience. Hands down best EQ software and this 15$ dongle makes it well worth it. Give it a shot and avoid spending 100's of dollars on dac/amp combos. Read more
I'm pretty happy with the performance of this. Good chipset, plays very (too) loud, and clever industrial design showing the little chips through a viewing window. However, the wires from the device to the USB-C connector are very thin and exposed, which might impact durability. It looks cool, but there's a lot of flexing where it meets my laptop, and I'm concerned that the constant flexing will spell the end of this dongle -- I'd rather have insulation over these wires. So, mixed bag here. I think this would be better if it were connected to my desktop (under the desk) PC, where it would not be subject to flexing. It's plug and play on my Windows 11 laptop, couldn't be easier. Read more
Works great! I used it with my Sennheiser HD 599s compared to a standard USB-C 3.5mm adapter, and the difference is night and day. The audio from a standard adapter is muddy, while the audio from this adapter is super clear and has great separation. Read more
Worth spending a couple bucks extra for this one, as it provides better sound and longer lasting quality than most. YOu'll notice it as soon as you plug it in (relative to the generic cheap ones). Easy to use, connects to any USB-c and mini jack. npn power needed, small and easy to carry around. Speedy. Read more
Supports the full bitrate of 32-bit 384khz on PC. Works great with IPhone out of the box. Great alternative to the default Apple plug. Even comes with a C-to-A adapter for compatibility. Great value for money if you need a quick soundcard on a budget. Read more
Sound quality sits between a Sound Blaster Play 3 and the Apple 1/8th audio to usb-c connector. It is (In My Opinion) better than the Apple adapter, by a night and day margin - but not as good as the Sound Blaster 3/4 Play (I'm not saying the SB is a superior device just a reference).. Anyways, this is 100% better than the cheaper ones, very nice. *** NOTE: high rating is realative / this is still a cheap adapter. It has obvious boost and high output, "colored" signal. It will be a nightmare to tune in a good car audio setup. It is however, plug and play with lively sound for the eq-less uses. It's response will be best at mid levels. Low is harse bass, high is less bass. But in the middle it finds a sweet spot. For the low cost, very good for mindless "just works and sounds better" uses. Read more
