It does fast charging and stuff, and let's you listen. Haven't had any issues while charging and listening to something. Seems durable, haven't had any issues with that either. Glad I purchased, because trying to find the right headphones that were USBC connection was an absolute headache on this platform so I just got some cheap headphones that sounded decent and got this connection piece. The design is just right, it's compact but it's still sturdy enough to let you know that it's there. The price is just right. When you connected it tells you that everything is connected, and the cord even allows you to MTP access through the USB cord to send files while you're listening, and I haven't had any problems with disconnections or anything. Audio through it sounds good most of the time. I have had a brief low level of static in the audio a couple times. My phone can detect headphones being plugged in and it automatically switches the audio to the headphones. When I unplug the headphones it does not detect them being removed and my phone just goes silent, unaware that the headphones have been disconnected. To register that the headphones have been disconnected I have to remove the adapter. Even with the adapter and no headphones attached my device thinks there are headphones and tries to output the audio only through the non-existing headphones. I have the same experience with my laptop computer. When a charging cord is plugged into the adapter the headphones are temporarily disabled, audio will switch to the speakers and then after a few seconds it will switch back to the headphones. I wish that the adapter could either detect when headphones were connected and relay that to the device its connected to or have a switch on the side to toggle whether the user wants to use headphones or not. I also had some difficulty in plugging the adapter into the usb-c port of my laptop. I did not have the same issue when using it with my phone. edit: I had pleasant interactions with the customer service. This worked fine for a couple of weeks, until after the window to return it. I don't know why, but it has started to be extremely sensitive to movement. If I'm watching somthing and have my ear buds connected to it, I have to be very careful not to even lightly bump or adjust the angle of this cable as it will make the audio go out and start comming from the phone speaker for a moment and then it automatically connects to the ear buds again. Even just a small movement in the position of the phone can cause this. Sometimes the audio will go out and the video of what I'm playing will pause as if I disconnected the cable when I didn't. It's a very faulty cable with bad connective issues. I do not reccomend this product and wish I could get a refund for it.. Read more
