This is a thick, sturdy cord that stands up to the challenges of heavy, daily usage in the car. It works well and is the perfect length for use in the front or back seat. I’m sure it’s been stepped on, possibly slammed in the door, on occasion, and yanked, and though I would NOT recommend these actions, it has held up well and continues to performs as it did out of the box. This XOVRAETH 6 ft charging cord is durable with a braided feel. The 6ft is a perfect length. So far I'd say it charges pretty fast, though not as fast as other 'fast chargers' I've used but can add a full charge in about an hour. It functions well with my iPhone 17 plus my MacBook Air M1 2020. I didn't notice any extra heat. For about $10, this is a great price for me, since some other USB-C charging cords are limited to one device. I will likely get another of these. Read more
I’ve been using this 3-ft USB-C to USB-C braided cable for everyday charging (phone/tablet and occasionally a laptop charger), and it feels sturdier than the typical thin cables that fray near the connector. The nylon braid is tight and the strain relief at the ends looks well reinforced, so it doesn’t feel like it’s going to kink or split after a few weeks of bending. Plug fit has been snug in my devices and chargers, and it’s handled fast charging without getting noticeably warm during normal use. The shorter 3-ft length is also a plus at a desk or in the car - less slack to tangle. One thing worth calling out: “USB-C” doesn’t automatically mean it supports display/video. This works great as a charging/data cable, but if you’re buying it hoping to run a USB-C monitor or dock video output, that’s not guaranteed and often requires a different spec cable.
