It absolutely works as advertised. I don't have any technical background to give any specifics in what it may be doing. What I do know, is when I plug my USB cords into it, it transfers power to the devices needing power. To me that's a 100% win. Does what it is supposed to do. If I need more, I will order this one again. Read more

Didn't work for me, damaged external drive
For some reason these do not supply enough power for use with an external hard drive so don't try it. My drive shut on and off erratically resulting in a damaged drive and data loss. They may be okay for a mouse or keyboard, but they really don't supply power as they should. You are warned. Read more
I’ve used this thing hundreds of times.
I have only one USB port on my laptop that isn’t filled with something. I have unplugged and plugged this gadget in 100s of times. It just keeps on working. I’m in shock. Because it looks and feels kind of flimsy. But the little thing just keeps chugging and chugging and chugging. I’m quite happy with China on this one. Thank you, China. Read more
Great splitter for my computer
Does a great job giving me options for charging multiple items at the same time. About a 4 inch cord that means it is very accessible but stays out of the way hanging off my computer and comes with a great price (about $5 with tax). I don't have to hunt for different cords because they are right there already attached and ready to use. Read more
