I travel just enough that my laptop basically lives out of a bag, and if you’ve used any modern laptop lately, you already know the problem: you get two, maybe three USB-A ports if you’re lucky, one USB-C port if the design gods smiled on you, and that’s it. Not exactly ideal when you’re trying to run a presentation, hook up a mouse, keyboard, flash drive, and maybe an Ethernet adapter without playing musical chairs with cables. Enter the WinRaybot USB Hub. This little thing is USB 3.0 compliant, doesn’t need an external power supply (a huge win for portability), and instantly turns one lonely port into four very usable ones. Yes, powered hubs have their place on a desk, but when you’re traveling, extra bricks and cables are just clutter. This hub keeps things simple and lightweight. What really sold me is that it doesn’t force you into the USB-C-only lifestyle. It includes an adapter so you can use it with a standard USB-A 3.0 port if your laptop doesn’t have USB-C. That flexibility alone makes it far more useful than a lot of hubs that assume everyone bought the same laptop last year. Performance has been rock solid. Data transfer is fast, no dropouts, no weird disconnects—even with all four ports in use. I’ve run a mouse, keyboard, flash drive, and an Ethernet-to-USB adapter simultaneously without a hiccup. It just works, which is honestly the highest compliment you can give a piece of tech. Bottom line: this hub does exactly what it promises, does it well, and doesn’t complicate your setup. If you travel, present, or just need more ports without hauling extra gear, this is an easy 5-star buy. Simple, reliable, and refreshingly drama-free. Read more
This is a great little piece of gear. It's not fancy, it's just an unpowered USB hub. I have a laptop that I have loved for years, but a couple of the USB-A ports have stopped working. There's just one left, and sometimes I need to use more than one USB device. This fits the bill. You plug it in, and you get four available USB-A jacks where there was just one before. There's a little blue LED that let's you know that it's powered up, which is a nice touch. It seems well made. The fabric-covered cord seems thick enough and sturdy, too. Read more
It was disappointing that it took over a month to receive the item. I really like that I have the option to use on many devises with the USB and the USB-C adapters however, the down side is that the connector keeps separating and coming apart when using the USB plug. Unfortunately a few times, I thought that it was connected and it didn't work correctly because it had separated. I also feel like the entry to the connection of the USB ports are rough. I have to shove the USB devise into the openings of the hub and it is a very tough to pull out and disconnect (not a smooth input or output). I like the compact size, it is easy to drop in my bag or purse and carry with me when needed. Overall the devise is fine, all peripheral's attached work and are recognized immediately. Since my laptop doesn't come with enough ports, it is a bonus having all of the extra ports. The braided cable is nice and thick and I haven't had any issues transferring files, the speed & device seems to work and be as described. Read more

Good usb hub to take on the go. Works without issue with my laptop, and file transfer speeds seem to be full usb 3.0 speeds. no 3.1 or 3.2 speeds though but that's ok for what I need which is just to be able to plug in 2 dongles and a flash drive. Build quality is also quite robust, it's nice aluminum housing. Good little travel hub, 10/10! Read more
It is very easy to run out of space for USB connected devices on modern-day laptops, which usually offer 1 or 2 USB slots, if any. These can turn 1 (or even 0) into space for connecting 4 USB-devices, which is helpful for connecting things like Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, (some types of) speakers, thumb or hard drives etc. I like using this for connecting my "desktop" devices to my laptop, the items I use when working at a desk stationary at home. This allows me to work with a regular mouse and keyboard and have my extra storage attached. When I am on the go, I just unplug one thing, this USB hub, from my laptop and I am good to go. The cord on this is short, but I don't see any issue with that. The build quality of this item is pretty good. You can connect this to either a USB or your charging USB-C port on your laptop using the included adapter. Overall, it works very well, and transfer data speeds are pretty good. If you are looking for a USB hub, this gets the job done with decent value for money spent. Read more
