I purchased this "USB Type C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter (2-Pack)" last week, and I've used it for 6 or 7 hours while walking around. I use the adapter to connect a pair of wired headphones, which I've never had issues with, to my brand new phone. The connection is not very secure, which causes a number of issues: 1. At least once every 10 to 20 minutes they disconnect slightly, causing the audio to pause 2. During at least half of my uses, static noise has been present, distorting the audio quality 3. Twice a very loud siren-like buzzing occurred, which severely startled me and hurt my ears Since the adapters only cost $4.74, I was willing to overlook the first two problems, but the 3rd problem was unforgivable. I strongly recommend against purchasing this. Read more
