This USB port expander has worked very well for me. When my old PC failed, I purchased a new one. Unfortunately, it has only two USB ports. I need three at a minimum, which is why I purchased this product. It is small and light I worked immediately. I have two USB ports permanently occupied. What they control works as well as they did when I plugged the items into the two available ports on the PC. I have used one of the two available ports. It works fine. The remaining port on the PC still works well. I plugged the DVD drive I purchased with this (evaluated elsewhere on Amazon) and it worked fine. It's cheap. It's a USB hub. It's decently made. It's got a short cord, perfect for use with a laptop, maybe not for a desktop. And it works great. What more could you want? Read more
