I am normally a medium so I ordered a medium and now wish I would have sized up to large or even XL so I could have worn a sweater underneath. I am not as narrow in the shoulders as the coat so it’s too tight to be comfortable and the sleeves are slim so if you have larger arms, this is not the coat for you. If the shoulders would have been wider, it would have worked great for me. The material is a great quality and is so soft. The coat looks like wool but it feels like it has some cashmere in it. In case you are wondering, it doesn’t stretch at all. The coat is completely lined and has good size pockets which I also appreciate. The oatmeal color is beautiful in person. If the shoulders would have been wider and the coat true to size, I would have given it 6 stars and would have said it is worth the price. There are pros and cons to this, in my opinion. The greatest thing about this jacket is the fabric. It is SO soft and smooth I feel like I could bring it into bed to cuddle with it at night! You just want to pet it. It's hard to keep your hands off it! The fabric is kind of light and comfortable, so it would work as a blazer indoors in the winter. Another pro is that the sizing is pretty accurate. I wear a small for tops, but my shoulders are always a little broader than the fit of the garment, and I'd say that's true for this, too. The sleeves are still long enough, but when I reach forward, it's a little tight in the back. I think most people would not have that same issue, though. The cons are that I'd like it to have some secure fastening, like a button or something to secure it closed. The only way to hold it closed is the belt. I was also a little disappointed because I was hoping to wear this as a winter coat, but it is far too light for a midwest winter. It could be a light layer in the fall, but not for very cold temperatures. The last part that I was disappointed about was that it is pretty short. It really doesn't cover my button completely, and I was hoping it would. It would just need to be about two more inches. So, it wasn't quite what I was hoping for, and I'm not quite sure how often I would wear it as an indoor blazer, so it's not the most useful item for me. Read more
