Gorgeous red dress coat! I love the shade of red. It's not a blistering bright red, which I'm thankful for. It's a wonderful hue in class & style. I just love it. The coat has a nice thickness, and it's fully lined in same red color with the usual nylon satin type material. The material is nice and smooth, and cozy warm to protect from the cold. I consider this coat a wardrobe must have. One of the classic staples every woman should have. I have my normal size, and it fits perfectly. Super flattering with the tapered waist and darts on the back. It gives the coat a custom look and feel. I feel so cute wearing this coat and you will too!! It's a perfect hem length. The sleeves are perfect upper arm width and length. When I button up, the fit is comfortable, and I my movement is free. Wow, this is my WINNER dress coat. But, this coat will still work for dressy casual, too. Super great value here for the price point! And, there's a very nice color selection available. My only problem was..., on of the wonderfully deep pockets had about a two inch length of seem missing. So, it arrive nicely packaged with a hole in the pocket. It was an obvious sewing error that is just part of the math. This is still a fabulous coat, and I'm excited to receive it. I highly recommend this coat to you. I’ll include my measurements in the comments, but the fit itself is spot‑on. --- ✅ What I Like - Perfect fit in the Medium. The shoulders, sleeves, and overall structure fit exactly right. - Material feels nice. The outer fabric is about 90% polyester and 10% wool, with a polyester lining. It has that classic winter‑coat feel without being overly heavy. - Beautiful button color. The buttons are a soft champagne gold — not too yellow, not too brassy. A really elegant choice. - Classic shoulders. Structured but not boxy, and definitely not 80s‑style shoulder pads. - Inner button helps the coat lay correctly. Once that inside button is fastened, the front buttons line up straight and look polished. --- ❌ What I Don’t Like - Cinches too tightly at the waist. The silhouette is very hourglass, and for me it’s a bit too cinched, which causes the pockets to bulge out and makes the shape less flattering. - Deep V‑neck. A slightly higher neckline would feel more balanced for a winter coat. - Limited color options. Only black, green, and two reds were available. I would have preferred neutrals like beige, tan, khaki, or light gray. - Black will show every pet hair. With a 180‑lb English Mastiff dog and eight (!!!!) indoor cats, this coat is going to be a lint‑roller nightmare. The wool content means the hair may cling more than I’d like. - Longer length than my preferred silhouette. My favorite dressy coat is a couple inches shorter and only slightly tapered — this one is more dramatically shaped. --- ⭐ Summary & Rating This is a well‑made, classic black winter coat with a perfect fit and elegant details. The overly cinched waist, deep V‑neck, and limited color options keep it from being ideal for me, especially with how much pet hair it will attract. Still, it’s a stylish, nicely constructed coat. 4 stars. Very pretty but doesn’t fit me like it does the model in the photo. If I could pinch the waist in I think it would be much more flattering. The fabric is very soft but it does attract everything! I got the color black so it could go with everything! I know I’ll be able to wear it to church, court, interviews, or really anywhere paired with a skirt and some boots. The inside is soft almost silk like and the outside Wool so it’s also warm! This coat look much more expensive than it is! The wool is thick and soft, not itchy at all. It's a rich, classic black color that goes with anything from skinny jeans and boots to evening wear. My favorite part is the styling around the waist and bust. There are these very flattering pleats righ under the bust that pulls the waist in and creates a slim silouette. I feel like it runs one size small, though, I might size up two sizes to be able to wear over thicker sweaters or sweater dresses. The pleating would keep it from looking too big and boxy. Read more
