I had it in its original package until I opened it on July 6th, five weeks ago. First, the tie downs are very short and cheap. We had some wind and rain and I had it tied down securely (or so I thought), when some wind came along and it ripped to shreds. I even added extra tie downs on the outside mirror pockets to keep it secure. Every time a LITTLE WIND came along, it was constantly causing it to “blow up like it was a balloon “ and that was before I had a wind and rain. As I picked up the shredded pieces, I noticed I could tear it with my bare hands…. Mind you, I am 76 years old! This product is garbage! I am going back to the other one I used. Here is some advice, make the tie down straps on all 4 sides long enough to reach across the width of the car, so you can tie it down more snugly, instead of those short ones that tie to the wheels. My car sits under a canopy. I just need to keep water drips and dust off of it. I’ve had a similar style previously that is now being used for another car. This one fits better than the last style I bought. It goes to the ground and has mirror pockets and an elastic strip to use to tie down (I just tied it down to my rims). It isn’t a perfect fit for my M3 due to the mirror pockets but it’s close enough and I was able to get the mirrors to fit. if this lasts 2 years like my last one I’d say I got my moneys worth. I use this INSIDE a building to keep bird droppings off my vehicle. It is very light and easy to handle. Ends are elastic bunched and fit well over front and rear bumpers. Would probably want a heavier one for outside, but for what I wanted it is perfect. Read more
