Cold weather motorcycle riding
I ordered this balaclava for my cold motorcycle rides to replace my non-heated winter balaclava. This thing is seriously amazing and worked great on low in 46°F in Pennsylvania. Pros: My face stays warm! The mouth covering is not tight like my other balaclava which muffled my voice over the mic, making it difficult to be understood and the voice commands would not work. Cardo responded well to my voice commands with this which is great because it's hard to find the little buttons on the side of my helmet with thick winter gloves on (also heated). Cons: Fit: I must have a small head because this is not snug at all. I push what is loose towards the back of my head once my helmet is on and that seems to make it more snug. Comfort: The location of the battery is kind of uncomfortable with all of my gear on. I have to move it around while looking up and down, left and right to position it in a place that doesn't dig into my neck or chin. Overall: I highly recommend this to anyone who rides in cold weather! Even with the cons, I feel as though it is still worth five stars because those cons do not negatively impact the performance.
